Mission Statement
The Christian Education Ministry will provide a program with the opportunity for all to study the Scriptures, history and heritage of Christianity and the Episcopal Church and to have Christian fellowship at all levels.
In addition to the study of the Scriptures, the church school curriculum will include care of young children, worship experience in the chapel, and an opportunity for learning Christian music as well as the experience of being a part of a Christian community.
The curriculum of the youth communities will enable each young person to become a mature, responsible and active Christian. There will be time for study, service and fellowship.
The adult education curriculum will be multi-faceted, with study of the Scriptures, Christian heritage and timely issues. The Christian Education Ministry will cooperate with other ministries in presenting programs.
The Ministry will be responsible for recruiting and training church school teachers, chapel leaders, youth community leaders and adult leaders.

Living the Good News ~ Pre-K to 8th grade
Living the Good News is a lectionary-based curriculum published for the Episcopal Church by Morehouse Publishing. The lesson each Sunday for each grade level is focused on the Gospel lesson and the other appointed Bible readings for the day. Using crafts, games and group activities, each child is invited into the loving presence of God made known through the Word. Our Episcopal heritage is shared through experiencing the liturgical seasons and exploring The Book of Common Prayer. Take-home materials highlight the lesson of the day and provide the opportunity for parents and children to reflect together on the readings each have experienced during the course of Sunday morning. A real strength of this curriculum is the diversity represented in the curriculum graphics. Children in classes Pre-K – 3rd Grade will also hear the Word in the liturgical setting of the Children’s Chapel. Children in the older grades will share in hearing the lessons read during worship and hearing the sermon each Sunday.
