Statement of Welcome
Welcome!
Whoever you are, and wherever you are on your journey of faith, you are welcome here.
St. Andrew’s is a theologically diverse Episcopal parish in the heart of Framingham, serving the wider MetroWest region of Massachusetts—a community rich in cultural, linguistic, and religious diversity. Rooted in a deep love for our history and traditions, we are continually shaped by new voices and new energy as our city grows. Some among us have worshiped here for generations; many others are newer. Together, we are grounded in faith, curiosity, and a shared desire to live out the Gospel in this time and place.
Guided by our Baptismal Covenant, we seek to respect the dignity of every human being. We are intentionally inclusive and part of God’s Beloved Community, welcoming and valuing people of every race, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, intellectual or physical ability, age, and background. We truly mean it when we say: all are welcome.
We are a kid-friendly, intergenerational community where children’s laughter is a gift and where young and old grow in faith side by side. Whether you are certain in your beliefs, carrying questions, or simply curious, there is space for you here.
Our worship reflects the richness of who we are, with music that is eclectic and prayerful, drawing from both traditional and contemporary expressions. Beyond Sunday mornings, our campus is a place of connection, creativity, and service, hosting community partners such as Massachusetts Communities Action Network (MCAN), Performing Arts Center of MetroWest (PAC), ProGente Connections, and BNI.
At our heart, St. Andrew’s is a faithful and compassionate community, committed to sharing Christ’s love through worship, hospitality, and action—for the sake of our neighbors and the world God so loves. We are glad you are here.
Mission Statement
In response to God’s grace and love extended to us through his Son Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are called:
to seek God’s will in all that we do;
to worship God as a Eucharistic community grounded in the Bible, using The Book of Common Prayer and enriching our liturgy with a variety of styles;
to nurture one another in all stages of life through prayer and healing, education and study, pastoral care and action, and fellowship and program;
to go into the community to serve, sharing the gifts God has given to us; and
to invite others to faith in Jesus Christ, bearing witness to God’s love for all and sharing experiences of God’s work in our lives.
