Livestreamed Worship
Sunday, February 15, 2026
In response to God's grace and love extended to us through his Son, Jesus Christ,
and empowered by the Holy Spirit,
We who are many are one body, because we all share one bread, one cup.
Those familiar words from the sending of Eucharistic Visitors continue to shape who we are at St. Andrew’s. They remind us that our unity is not uniformity, but a shared life in Christ. In recent years, that shared life has taken on new forms. What began as a necessary shift during the COVID-19 pandemic has become an ongoing commitment to accessible worship. Our online services remain a vital ministry, connecting homebound parishioners, travelers, and friends near and far to our common prayer.
We remember with gratitude the creativity that carried us through those uncertain days—broadcasts from a rector’s living room, services on the church lawn, and the joyful return to the sanctuary. Easter 2021 still brings smiles: clergy preaching from a flatbed truck, parishioners gathered in cars with radios tuned in, the choir singing into microphones set up in the parking lot, and the technical team making it all possible. When it came time to pass the peace, windshield wipers waved back and forth across the lot—a holy and humorous sign of connection in a time of distance.
That spirit of adaptability and hope continues to mark us. We remain open to growth and to the movement of the Spirit. When members of the Lutheran Church of Framingham were discerning their next chapter, we welcomed them warmly—sharing worship, praying from their tradition once a month, and ultimately receiving many into membership. Their presence has strengthened and enriched our common life.
Worship remains at the heart of St. Andrew’s. We are a congregation that values thoughtful preaching and teaching that connects faith with daily living. Music is central to our prayer. We sing from The Hymnal 1982, Wonder, Love, and Praise, Lift Every Voice and Sing, and other sources as well. Our hymns, psalms, and anthems are chosen with care to reflect the lessons and the seasons, helping us pray not only with our words, but with our whole selves.
Together, in person and online, in sanctuary and beyond, we continue to live into the call to be one body in Christ.
